Martin and Lucy follow the progress of four properties from London to Stoke. Lucy meets a father-and-son team with ambitious plans to convert a two-bed Kent semi into a four-bedroom home. Martin meets a family who have moved back to Britain from Jamaica and hope making a profit on a flat in Lewisham will help them buy a larger house to live in. He also meets a developer who buys not one but two neighbouring period terraces in Stoke. They are in a terrible condition but the former HR manager reckons he can turn them into beautiful homes.
