A young army vet is found stabbed to death on the cold asphalt of a dark parking lot, with too many knife wounds to count. Lt. Kenda must follow the trail of blood to an unlikely killer with a heartless motivation to kill.

A dead body is found in the debris of a five-alarm fire. Lt. Kenda uncovers that the blaze was no accident and launches a manhunt for a dangerous pyromaniac with a fiery temper.

A jealous vendetta leaves a popular musician dead and his killer's whereabouts unknown; Sergeant Joe Kenda gambles his career on a risky strategy to bring his prime suspect to justice.

Two joggers discover a body beaten beyond recognition in a state park; with only a matchbook as a clue, Lt. Kenda has to first ID the victim before he can hunt down the perpetrator.

A man finds his brother, delivery driver Patrick Ray, dead in his car; although evidence points to an apparent suicide, Kenda digs deeper, uncovering a murder as tragic as it is senseless.

A fast food manager is found dead in an idling car at a deserted intersection; Kenda uncovers several likely suspects, but then a surprise twist in the investigation leads him into uncharted territory.

The $43 Murder
A war hero is found brutally beaten to death in the back of a semi; the random nature of the crime leaves Kenda little to go on, other than the mysterious pattern left on the victim by the murder weapon.

Five people are murdered in a cold-blooded robbery, paralyzing the city with fear; with much of the evidence lost in a fire set by the suspect, Kenda's search hinges on a fuzzy surveillance photo.
