Detective Maurice Stewart investigates the murder of Raynard Williams Jr, a 15-year-old boy, who was gunned down after walking his younger sister home.

In Cold Blood
Det. Walter Edmond responds to a homicide in Central City, where a young woman named Cayla Kelley has sustained multiple gunshot wounds and is found dead in the street. At the crime scene, a couple who claims to know the decedent approach NOPD. Det. Edmond quickly senses something is amiss and detains the couple. When he investigates their alibis, Edmond is led to a primary suspect named Earl Simmons. Edmond collects surveillance footage that places Simmons at the crime scene with Cayla and issues an arrest warrant. A few days later, a ballistics match shows that the murder weapon that killed Cayla, killed another innocent victim named ddie Matthews. This piece of evidence breathes new life into Det. Jameson Diesburg's investigation, who once feared the case would go cold. The detectives are shocked to learn Earl Simmons allegedly killed two people within four hours and team up to get Simmons off the street.

Mardi Gras Murder
During Mardi Gras festivities in New Orleans, Mervin Magee is shot multiple times in the French Quarter; Detective James Fyfe faces an uphill battle to collect footage that shows the identity of the perpetrator before it expires.

Know Thy Neighbor
Early on Sunday morning, Detective Tanisha Sykes Smith responds to a man found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds alongside a building in the Lower 9th Ward. Later that morning, Detective Tianay Marshall joins the investigation as the partners search through Real Time Crime Center surveillance footage for clues as to what happened. Working off several tips from family and neighbors, Detectives Sykes Smith and Marshall finally put the pieces together and apprehend the alleged shooting suspect.

In the heart of Gentilly, Detective Rayell Johnson is called to investigate the chilling murder of Travis Hobbs, a 42-year-old New Orleans native, gunned down in his truck during a thunderstorm. With the help of Det Johnson and Det Stewart, Det Diesburg pieces together what happened one Saturday afternoon when two teens fired rifles on two other teens driving down the street in a residential neighbourhood in the 6th district.

Detective Arthur Hill is on the case to catch a suspected killer, but he's relying on a witness who is fearful because they survived a gunshot from the suspect. Meanwhile, Detective Stewart is called to a busy intersection where an elderly woman suffers a horrible attack from a homeless man armed with a knife.

Lead Detective Joseph Herman works the case of Brittany Ussin, a young woman who is senselessly gunned down after a fist fight live streamed on social media goes wrong.

With the help of his partner Det. Hill, Det. Stewart tracks down the killers of a good Samaritan who was attempting to stop a crime in progress.

Aided by the know-how of veteran officers in the department and his own investigative skills, Rookie Detective Donnie Willyard tracks down a suspect who allegedly shot a man in the front entrance of his home nearly 10 times.
