Rebecca and her young daughter, Sarah, travel west to start a new life. They meet rugged rancher, Tom, and discover the boardinghouse Rebecca purchased is not as promised.

All in a Dream
When Tom refuses to provide lumber to repair the boardinghouse, Rebecca gets creative. Mountie Alexander mediates a conflict between the ranchers and prospectors.

Good Prospects
Rebecca starts a mess tent to fund boardinghouse repairs. Tom faces an unexpected setback. Olivia takes her art to the next level with help from Alexander and Clayton.

Trading Places
Rebecca applies her medical knowledge when Nash breaks his leg. Tom inadvertently strikes a bargain with Rebecca to supply the lumber for the boardinghouse.

Finally Home
When the children get lost in the woods, Rebecca opens up about her past to Tom as they search. Alexander helps Hattie crack her new safe. Clayton teaches Olivia woodworking.

Rebecca avoids grieving her late husband on his birthday by throwing herself into her work on the boardinghouse. Alexander mediates rising tensions between Tom and Doyle.
