Bola de Nieve
On his show "Toda la verdad", Ramiro del Solar grills the public works minister over the corruption behind the Yahuaca bridge collapse; Ramiro's daughter, Jimena, is perturbed by the gestures of channel owner Lima. The following day, the del Solar family is sharing a meal with their "other daughter" Alexia Valle, an Olympic diver and Jimena's best friend. That very night, however, a secret is revealed: Ramiro is having an affair with Alexia. After a romantic evening, a harmless joke goes fatally awry when Alexia falls and breaks her neck. A panicked Ramiro can only clean up the evidence of his presence; but Alexia has a picture on her phone of them together, and it ends up in the hands of a young girl. Days later, Alexia's body is found by Jimena and a "surprised" Ramiro. On "Toda la verdad", Ramiro characterizes it as a tragic accident, but he is blindsided by news that the police are investigating it as a possible homicide.

Bumerán
Ramiro uses his status to latch on to the investigation as he seeks to monitor who the police are looking at. Behind the scenes, the attorney general brings in respected criminologist León, who finds an overlooked piece of evidence at the crime scene. Meanwhile, Ramiro and his reporter Sami zero in on Marcos, Alexia's boyfriend, and his alleged history of violence.

Anónimo
As Lima pressures Ramiro to support Altamirano's campaign, Ramiro and Julia weigh their options on how to distance themselves from the hardline candidate. Platas finds out that León returned to Alexia's house. After Marcos is brought into custody, he readily offers up his fingerprints upon learning that one was lifted from the crime scene. Meanwhile, Ramiro receives an ominous message.

Serpientes y Escaleras
After Marcos is released on bail, Jimena pushes him to do an interview with her father. Ramiro seeks help in digging into the background of his pesky neighbor Pacheco. Lima steers a major contract to Bernarda's business. After Sami learns about doping within Alexia's diving team, Ramiro presses Marcos about it in their interview, but Marcos calls attention to the fingerprint found.

Devenir
Despite offering his DNA, a judge sends Marcos back to jail; under questioning by the DA's office, Marcos reveals his true whereabouts on the night of Alexia's murder. A candlelight vigil for Alexia - organized by Jimena and Delia - is marred by Ramiro's attendance. Also, a reluctant Platas pushes back on León's recommendation to seek fingerprint samples from Alexia's family and friends.

Se Acerca El Fuego
Marcos is identified as the murder victim. Jimena announces her plans to move out. Figueroa's investigation into Pacheco takes a dark turn after an attempt to pry information out of Pacheco ends in his accidental death. Ramiro uses his show to try and make a connection between the doping and Alexia and Marcos' deaths; later, he receives another anonymous message.

Volcán Apagado
Figueroa gives Ramiro a video of police breaking protocols at the crime scene of Alexia's death, which Ramiro airs on his show; the video causes fallout in the DA's office. Jimena's investigation into Altamirano reveals that he and Lima are connected through a collection of shell companies. Also, the cybercrime unit identifies a person of interest from Alexia's social media activity.

Masa Polar
Bernarda cuts ties with Eva and Lima. Platas threatens Ramiro to rehabilitate his image with the public. León moves to collect prints from people surrounding Alexia, which causes Ramiro's paranoia to boil over: he refuses to provide his fingerprints, which solidifies León's suspicions. Later, Ramiro infuriates Lima by airing out Altamirano's dirty business deals during their interview.

Leningrado
The DA's office goes after Jimena after connecting her to the IP address, and under questioning she admits that she was in love with Alexia. Bernarda reveals that she was the one sending anonymous messages to Ramiro after seeing him in the picture, and demands that Ramiro get Lima to protect Jimena. Ramiro arrives at a crossroad after Rivera moves to charge Jimena.

Hacia la noche
Jimena is destroyed after learning the truth about her father's relationship with Alexia. León informs Ramiro that the police are moving to arrest Jimena - he must confess if he wants to save his daughter. Bernarda pleads with Ramiro, and he decides to come clean on his show; as Lima watches with joy Ramiro's demise, Ramiro maneuvers to divulge Lima's ties to Altamirano.
