An actress who hasn't done anything in sometime comes to town to appear in a play. A guest runs into her husband, the hotel's electrician who ran out on her seven years ago. And McDermott has a temporary secretary who can't help but try and run his life.

A woman is reunited with her long lost sister, a hotel critic visits the St. Gregory Hotel and a photographer has started running an escort agency out of his premises in the arcade.

An old boyfriend of Christine's comes to town and is willing to do anything to win her over including buying the hotel. And a couple who are friends of Peter's may not be happy as they appear to be.
