Metallic Tile Fireplace
With a little help from licensed contractor Josh Temple, Dave Grashoff's uninspired and outdated space is transformed into a sleek, modern family room complete with a media wall, metallic fireplace surround and built-in computer work space. Dust collecting niches get demoed to make space for accessible storage. A tired river-rock fireplace surround is replaced by shiny porcelain tiles and a boring wall becomes a media Mecca complete with cabinetry and a motorized TV lift.
