Throwback Media and Living Room
Everything that happens at Blog Cabin is all about going big so that no one ever wants to go home. Josh Temple and Chris Grundy take on two rooms located on the ground floor of this stunning lakeside retreat. In the media/entertainment room, the guys frame a projector screen with vintage suitcases, old speakers and radios. The nearby refreshment bar is topped with a zinc wrapped counter sanded down to mimic the sparkle of the Idaho Diamond stone fireplace in the next room. This living space features a rustic burnt cedar barn door, a floating bench made with repurposed framing material, a framed art wall made with a reclaimed 'for sale' sign from a nearby property, and a coffee table topped with the same beautiful stone found on the fireplace. Lakeside living in the Coeur d'Alene wilderness doesn't get any better!

Slick Man Cave Garage
A garage filled with junk, a broken garage door and just a plain dark space is brought to life for a fireman and his fiancé. To give these homeowners a man cave and a place to entertain, House Crashers brings in a sleek frosted glass garage door, a concrete bar and a bifold window to the outside. Plus, the team builds a custom work table made from walnut and a fire hose bench perfect for this fireman's man cave.

Stylish Work and Party Garage
A diehard do-it-yourselfer turns his garage over to Josh to bring a sleek blend of work and play inside and out. The workspace begins with a folding room divider that blocks off the garage door and introduces rich wood textures. The work desk goes techy with a secret compartment to hide not one, but two computer monitors that are raised and lowered electronically. The long wall is skinned in aged metal, leading to the next gathering spot that boasts two whiskey bottle end tables, and a ceiling mounted flip down TV. As the guest list grows, revelers can spill outdoors onto the redwood deck that wraps all the way up to the fence to bring privacy and uniformity to this destination spot. A sexy U-shaped bench cozies up the conversation underneath an avant-garde pergola, creating a cabana vibe for VIP's only.

Tropical Resort Lounge
When a large garage becomes the dumping ground for decade-old wedding mementos and VHS-era electronics, Josh Temple comes to the rescue to turn a ton of trash into a tropical treasure. There's storage space aplenty in the new space with three bookcases. The lounge area brings a hint of Morocco on a tiled wall featuring recessed bar shelves made of rich hardwoods, and a tiled bar built on casters and topped with a frosted acrylic waterfall edge counter. Nearby, the entertainment center boasts a 60-inch TV inside oversized hardwood shelves, and a seating area bordered by a wall of shutters to hide the new roll up garage door from view.

Elegant Barn
Josh Temple and his team give these homeowners the best room in their house, and it just so happens to be outside. Staggered vintage windows hang from an A-frame pergola that sits atop a massive redwood deck. A custom made wood and metal couch fits perfectly in front of the new white brick fireplace to help with those chilly nights. Outdoor cooking is taken to a new level with a prep station skinned with tile and fitted with a new stainless steel BBQ. And to help round out this design are a reclaimed liquor cabinet, a huge dining table, and one of a kind lighting.

Classy Pass Thru Bar & Kitchen
From the first moment Josh Temple first sees Tracey and Nicole's mauve (emphasis on brown) L shaped kitchen, his desire to sledgehammer out a few walls comes to fruition with a beautiful and functional result. The kitchen remodel starts with a pass-thru bar into the living room. To bring function to the heart of the home, the guys move the stainless sink, dishwasher and fridge onto a whole new wall, add sweet white cabinets, natural quartzite countertops flecked with platinum, luxury vinyl floors, a window overlooking the den, and a wall-mounted TV. In this two-fer project, the guys take on the dining room as well, bringing in an octagonal pub table, a juice and coffee bar and lots of custom wine storage.

Massive Master Bedroom
A hot and unused recreation room is transformed into a master bedroom retreat complete with a one of a kind wall treatment, a walnut king sized bed with TV lift in the footboard, plus a tranquil custom water feature. Drum side tables flank the brand new bed plus, all new windows, flooring and insulated walls make this the perfect bedroom for this Grand Rapids family!

Modern Hipster Kitchen
The living room of this hipster heaven home feels artsy and inviting, but one step into the kitchen smacks of a gloomy, dated, depressing waste of space. Josh Temple takes the unimpressive room from tragic to transcendent by introducing alluring splashes of color along with huge heaps of cool. It all starts with a kitchen island outfitted with a cookbook shelf and plenty of drawer and cabinet space, an inside-out countertop divided by an accordion-style sit-on-top window, sleek modern barstools, a beefy mixed wood light fixture and extra long plank vinyl flooring in four mesmerizing colors.

Blue and Bright Kitchen
A cramped and outdated kitchen gets one major transformation. What was once tile counters, broken appliances and ugly cabinets is now an open kitchen with a bright blue hood, blue glass tile backsplash, marble countertops and all new appliances. Plus, a custom wine cubby, a one of a kind bar and a sleek island give this kitchen a personal touch.

Ultimate DJ Lounge
Josh Temple and his team turn a dark dungeon of a basement into the ultimate DJ Lounge. A new bar and DJ station are the centerpiece of this design with concrete countertops, brick veneer, and new big screen TV. Sleek flooring and resin pocket doors play up the cool vibes along with one-of-a-kind record boxes that spell out the word 'House'. A new lounge area with a light up wall art piece is the perfect place for friends to sit back and listen to stylish beats. Light up posts and custom glass pendants round out this design for the perfect party spot to dance till the wee hours of the morning.

Comfortable Living Space
Josh Temple and the crew turn a tiny living room into an entertainment area with a bar that expands into an amazing kitchen. The custom bar, fireplace and sleek dining table make this the ultimate hangout space.

Not Your Grandpa's Kitchen
Josh Temple and his team transform a dark, old kitchen into a bright, open kitchen. To start, Josh knocks down a wall to open the space in between the kitchen and living room. In its place goes a new peninsula with built-in stools that play off of the homeowner's favorite kitchen table. Old dark cabinets are replaced with light cabinets embedded with glass. Limestone countertops and beautiful gray tile play off the gray tones in the kitchen and give it some contrast. And to round out this design, a special kitchen nook is built with banquet seating, a one-of-a-kind table and geometric lighting.

Hollywood Glam Master Bedroom
A dated and dingy bedroom gets a complete makeover fit for Hollywood. Josh Temple and the team build a mahogany deck with sliding doors that lead into a luxurious space with a custom bed, built-in storage and a honeycomb wall partition. The addition of all-wood flooring and a private dressing room with a marble island makes this one glamorous bedroom.

Palm Springs Pool House
After just a week in their new home, Edward and Shannon luck out when they convince Josh Temple to reinvent their pool house that's nothing more than a storage space. Channeling a hip cabana party vibe, they start indoors with a two-sided custom sofa that gives partygoers their choice of views. The view on one side opens up to the pool with an 8 foot accordion window that becomes a pass thru bar when open, underneath is a wall of cabinets beefed up with two beverage fridges, all surrounded by an aqua blue tile backsplash that brings a splash of water indoors. Turn to the side and get ready for a wall-to-wall accordion door that leads the party outside onto a teak tiled patio complete with a fire feature in the round.
