A Suburban Fixer Gets a Major Kitchen Upgrade

After moving to the big city and spending some time in the hustle and bustle, Elisabeth and Roger are ready to move somewhere that feels a bit more like home. Elisabeth grew up in the South, and Roger grew up in the Midwest. But they both agree that the bedroom community of Santa Clarita, California would feel like the right fit. Roger grew up doing renovation projects with his father, and he's eager to dig into redoing whichever house Elisabeth and he ultimately settle on. They tour one fixer after another, and finally settle on a house they feel they could make their dream home. Roger tackles the bathroom himself, and he wants to redo the kitchen too. But he soon discovers that some of the work previously done was not up to par, so the couple covers their bases by bringing in some professional help.
