It turns out that the elixir was really just an herbal concoction. Mara and Jerome become closer and start to hang out more. Jerome starts to hang out with Mara more than Alfie and it is revealed that he has a crush on her, even nominating Mara to become the school representative. Fabian loses a puzzle piece when he shoves his bag away when he thinks there will be a bag search.
