A parcel bomb explodes in the pathology department. Hubert and pathologist Dr. Fuchs are admitted to the hospital for observation. Girwidz and Christina Bayer take over the investigation. They assume it was an act of revenge. Hubert, who is bored in the hospital ward, investigates on his own. He discovers that Dr. Fuchs and ward nurse Mareike Stein, who was also injured in the attack, were registered for the beauty contest "Die Dirndldame von Wolfratshausen" (The Dirndl Lady of Wolfratshausen). Did someone want to prevent the two women from participating so that someone else would win the contest?
