Nicole Jansen was killed with a crossbow in her office. There is much to suggest that her husband is the perpetrator, but he has a watertight alibi. At the time of the crime, he was in bed with police chief Sabine Kaiser.

Emergency call from the pathology department: a corpse has disappeared! The deceased is none other than the father of state parliament representative Elke Schwiers. For years, she has been pushing for the privatization of the clinic and thus also the closure of the pathology department.

Hubert and Girwidz find a cyclist who has been killed in an accident. Math teacher Silvia Wiesner appears to have been traveling too fast. But pathologist Fuchs refutes the accident theory...

Christina Bayer has arranged a training session with her tennis coach. However, when she arrives, he is lying dead on the court—killed with his own tennis racket! Club president Bernhard Seibel knows that the victim had no enemies and suspects revenge by a cuckolded husband. But then Yazid finds an injured scooter rider in a ditch. He is the groundskeeper at the tennis club and claims that a stranger forced him off the road. Could there be a connection to the murder of the tennis instructor?

While searching for poachers, Hubert and Girwidz stumble across the body of farmer Thomas Lengstätter. However, they find no evidence of foul play and assume that he died of natural causes. But pathologist Fuchs comes to a different conclusion. She proves that Lengstätter was the victim of a particularly perfidious murder using a poison that is difficult to detect. Lengstätter's children and heirs quickly come under suspicion, but they cover for each other.

While driving with Riedl in the patrol car, Hubert notices an electric scooter parked in the middle of the road. While Hubert takes a closer look at the damage, Riedl discovers the body of wildlife photographer Axel Kämmer.

Hubert and Girwidz find a body rolled up in a carpet by the river. The victim, Johannes Graf, had been reported missing by his wife that morning. She had assumed he was hiking in the mountains. He had recently made drastic changes to his life after consulting with life coach Seligstein. Graf was not in the mountains at all, as revealed by the tracking app on his cell phone. When the police manage to update the app, they discover that the cell phone is apparently still moving through Wolfratshausen...

Hubert and Girwidz just want to return little Fabian's soccer ball, which ended up in a stranger's garage. But there they find not only the ball, but also the body of real estate agent Thorsten Falk.

One summer day, Hubert and Girwidz buy ice cream at Yazid's new stand. While they are busy choosing their ice cream flavors, Gerhard Feinbein, the driver of a cash transport vehicle, is knocked down by a masked man behind their backs. The man hijacks the cash transport vehicle and disappears. A search is launched immediately, but to no avail. When Yazid happens to find the van, everyone is relieved: Feinbein's security colleague Steimle is still alive! But his account of the attack raises questions...

During a patrol, Hubert and Girwidz find the body of a young woman. Her car keys lead them to a company car nearby. Is the dead woman the owner of a pizza vending machine start-up?

The operator of a private Bitcoin exchange is found hanged on his terrace. With a massive price slump currently making headlines, suicide seems the obvious conclusion at first. Only a USB stick found in the dead man's throat points to foul play.
