Ein ehrenwertes Haus
Hubert and Staller are called to the scene of a break-in at an apartment building: Egon Dressel's basement storage unit has been robbed! While Staller tries to figure out with the agitated elderly man exactly what was stolen, Hubert finds a dead young woman in a side passageway of the basement who was obviously murdered just a short time ago. Janine Lorenz was one of the last residents of the apartment building, along with the retiree and the bohemian couple Nadja Erdmann and Tim Schiller. When Hubert and Staller learn of the planned luxury renovation of the building, the owners, Helmut and Ursula Neubert, come under suspicion.

Haus am See
Hubert and Staller find the body of pool cleaner Markus Greben in the swimming pool belonging to nightclub owner Bert Joschek. Was it an accident—or even murder? That's what medical examiner Dr. Anja Licht must first determine. Meanwhile, Hubert and Staller begin their investigation, which proves more difficult than expected. After falling into the pool—which had a dangerously high chlorine level—and receiving botched first aid from the hostess, Sandra Joschek, Hubert has temporarily lost his sight. With an opaque eye patch, he is now helplessly at the mercy of the caring Staller. Bert and Sandra Joschek very soon emerge as the prime suspects in the murder case.

Heißer Tod
Party alert for Hubert and Staller! They're called to a house full of party-loving women because of a noise complaint. Tina Geiger's bachelorette party is in full swing there. But instead of being upset, the evening's organizers, Caro Sendele and Anja Grobmeier, are thrilled by the police's visit. They've actually booked a stripper in a police uniform and are now cheering for the "double act" that's arrived. But their joy is short-lived. Hubert and Staller clear up the misunderstanding. Before the two can leave, they find a dead man at the foot of the basement stairs wearing a cheap knockoff police uniform: the stripper Stefan Meyer.

Rosenkrieg
Police Superintendent Girwidz had actually just wanted to do something for his health, but instead, on his very first morning jog, he discovers a woman's body. Initial investigations reveal that the young woman was poisoned and must have had a date with a man named Manni shortly before her death. The search for Manni, however, proves fruitless—until dog hair and treats are found near the body. That's when Hubert and Staller come up with the idea that Manni might be a Chihuahua that the victim was walking.
