Episode 1
Social experiment in which people go on the run. The fugitives arrive on a deserted beach with only a change of clothes and a small amount of cash, then plan their first move. Nathan and James try their luck at a private marina, while Meurig and Elinor attempt to smuggle themselves off the island right under the hunters' noses. When a gale hits the island, Shoba and Amarinder are forced to use a more conspicuous means of transport.

Episode 2
The hunters track Elinor and Meurig to his sister's house in Brecon, where Meurig makes a dramatic getaway. Despite a close shave, Shoba and Amarinder continue to rely on their family network. Nathan and James devise a plan to lure the hunters to a fake rendezvous. A deleted text gives the hunters a lead on the whereabouts of urban explorers Katie and Liam.

Episode 3
The hunters lie in wait for Katie and Liam at an abandoned ski centre. Sarah misses her children and hopes to see them at their weekly football session on her way to collect camping gear from a colleague. The hunters get a tip-off from a member of the public on the whereabouts of Shoba and Amarinder, and the Chief hatches an elaborate plan to reel them in.

Episode 4
Shoba and Amarinder are the target of an elaborate sting devised at Hunter HQ. Housemates James and Nathan have evaded the hunters so far by avoiding using technology, depending on their deaf network. But the hunters have a plan to force the guys out of hiding using James' beloved dog. With their mum's 60th birthday coming up, Abi and Grace risk all to get closer to her.

Episode 5
Abi and Grace risk everything by hitch-hiking back to their home turf, while Nathan and James take a chance on using public transport, even if it means being observed by CCTV. Hunter HQ launches a public appeal on the radio in an attempt expose Sarah, but she responds with an audacious plan to show who is really in control.

Episode 6
With the clock fast counting down through the last 48 hours, the fugitives make their final dash to meet the exit helicopter. James and Nathan decide to enjoy their last hours on the run at a football game. Sarah gets a ride from a supportive taxi driver who ferries her to the Scottish border.
