Hunted - Season 8

Season 8
Episodes

Episode 1
Social experiment in which 14 people are given fugitive status and go on the run, taking extreme measures to avoid detection as expert 'hunters' track them down. The contenders must hit the ground running to make a daring escape from Stansted Airport and stay on the run for 21 days to win a share of £100,000 - but every move they make is tracked by facial recognition cameras.

Episode 2
Sibling rivalry breaks out as one pair of fugitives head north, hoping for help from their home network, but unaware that the hunters are tracking their every move. A couple of runners are so loved up that they don't hear the hunters' drone descending while they sip champagne in a rented hot tub.

Episode 3
One of the fugitives is travelling solo and Chief Ray Howard is determined there will be no escape this time. A pair of fugitives make difficult choices in Essex when the hunters are directly on their trail.

Episode 4
Two of the fugitives make an unexpected return to Stansted and come face to face with the ground hunters. In Ipswich, two runners are caught in the crosshairs as a hunter team closes in. Another fugitive makes the wrong call, thinking visiting home is a good idea.

Episode 5
After a daring attempt to pick up £10,000 in Birmingham, two of the fugitives plunge headlong into a high-stakes race against the hunters as they try to leave the city. Vanishing into the Lake District seems like a perfectly brilliant idea for a solo fugitive, and two more contenders head for a family gathering as if home is the last place the hunters might be watching closely.

Episode 6
Two of the fugitives return to their hometown, where the hunters are waiting for them. Another pair prepare to split up for safety's sake, but an accidental encounter puts them directly in harm's way. Short on money and resources, two of the runners have no choice but to reach out to friends. But the hunters see it coming and the pair must split up and have even fewer resources to draw upon as the net tightens.

Episode 7
An ill-fated choice to take a long train journey lets the hunters get ahead of the pursuit of two of the runners. As one fugitive is chased through the streets of Birmingham, another's hope of finding safety on a farm backfires. And with their resources depleted, a pair of fugitives reach out to friends. But HQ know all about their social network and are rapidly on their trail.

Episode 8
With just 24 hours to go, the last three fugitives race to retrieve extraction details. A motorway chase, an unexpected detour and a teary final stage push the intrepid runners to the max. With the hunters closing in, will anyone make the exit and claim the £100,000?
