Michael Hess is a wanted prison escapee on the run with a new identity and has been living in the same town he is wanted in for two decades. Hess learns to beat the system and enjoy his new life of work, weed and women before he's busted.

What was planned as an easy robbery turns into The Carnegie Deli Murders. Sean Salley shoots an actress and her friends above a deli in New York, and flees to New Orleans and then to Miami where he plans to leave the country for good.

A Texas separatist group takes two hostages. Rangers are able to negotiate the release, however two members, Richard Keyes and Mike Matson get away, evading helicopters and dogs. Using an underground militia group, Keyes hides out in the woods undetected.

Lane Slettvet, a muscle man for a drug dealer, liked to test fate. One night on a job to pick up a prostitute, Slettvet stabs a man. He is tries to stay under the radar, but still goes to parties for the drugs.

After witnessing a murder, Anthony Ragno goes on the run. Building a new life trafficking pot in the Haitian islands, a coke addiction and close calls with local governments drive Ragno back to the US with a fake name.

After a fight in a mall, Eric Quesada murders his ex-best friend in a drive-by shooting. He goes on the run to Mexico, where he is caught by Mexican officials. Quesada spends two years fighiting extradition before being sent back to the US.

Randall Zandstra shot his ex-wife's boyfriend and was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Due to a technicality, the case goes to retrial, but Zandstra flees. Before he's apprehended, Zandstra wins big in a Vegas poker tournament.
