Mary Gemmer is a single mother looking for love in a small town. She thinks she has scored when she begins a romance with her son's handsome football coach. For years, their relationship goes through the motions, having both highs and lows. It's not until those lows become unbearable that Mary comes to realize that maybe her Prince Charming isn't such a Prince after all. Dewayne Barrentine is also a single parent, and lives the quiet life in a small Florida town. He thinks he has it all until he meets Tausha Fields and her little girl. The spark is instant and in a blink of an eye, they form a family. All is well until slowly but surely, their lives are torn apart by lies and manipulation.
