Day One
Welcome to one of the toughest jobs in the world: cod fishing off the Icelandic coast in the Arctic Circle. Two greenhorns leave everything behind to battle freezing waters and brutal storms in pursuit of big catches and even bigger paychecks.

Testing the Limits
The greenhorns fight their way into week two of their trial periods fishing off the Icelandic coast. Caitlin pushes her body past breaking point to match the other fishermen's physicality, and Greg's simple mistake jeopardizes the crew's paycheck.

The Soul Crusher
The greenhorns start their final week of their trial period hungry to secure their place onboard. Greg's time managing the Hook Machine known as "The Soul Crusher" ends in utter disaster, while Caitlin's future as a deckhand is hanging on by a thread.

A Bloody Mess
Off the coast of Iceland, the fishing boat Valdimar hits an Arctic storm making fishing nearly impossible and less fish means less money. On the Páll Jónsson, a horrendous injury puts the boat a man down, forcing the crew to work overtime.

Sweet Victory
After a victorious week off, deckhand Greg is ready to get his sea legs back when a sudden injury hits. Caitlin must prove herself in the extended trial-run or she'll be forced to pack her bags.

Uncharted Waters
Chaos ensues in the Arctic Circle when the Valdimar's generator cuts out, leaving the crew dangerously adrift. Greg's debilitating injury keeps him anchored on dry land and Caitlin undertakes her final test in uncharted waters.

The Void
Captain Benni must send the Páll Jónsson into The Void: a deeper fishing ground to the far north of the Artic Circle. Caitlin earns a permanent spot onboard and Greg's last-minute decision has massive consequences.

The Texas Greenhorn
From the Lone Star State to the Artic Circle, new greenhorn Andrew comes aboard the Valdimar to start his grueling three-week trial. Disaster strikes when the Páll Jónsson sails back to The Void, and Caitlin's mistake unleashes the wrath of Ingo.

Super Storm
With a super storm on the horizon, Capt. Frosti changes course and sails the Valdimar to Crazy Ridge; Caitlin is tested when turbulent waters strike the Páll Jo´nsson; greenhorn Andrew's rashness puts his trial in jeopardy.

Endurance
It's a race to the finish line as the Páll Jónsson and the Valdimar start their last fishing trip of the season. A fierce Atlantic storm tests Andrew's focus during his final trial week, and a man down forces Caitlin to step up her game.

Arctic Cyclone
It's high season for Icelandic fishing where catches are bigger than the storms; deckhand Andrew faces an epic Arctic cyclone and sleepless nights; sudden steering malfunctions leave the Páll Jo´nsson exposed at sea.

The Wild, Wild West
The deckhands embark on their final week aboard; Caitlin struggles with painful tendonitis during a storm that jeopardizes the prize catch of the season; Andrew feels the heat with the fast-paced duties on the Valdimar.

The Final Shift
During the final shift, a severe winter storm strikes the Páll Jo´nsson and Caitlin perseveres through her injury to save the day; Andrew uses his knowledge, strength, and determination to land every single cod and receives one final surprise.

Before joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed The Colbert Report, which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia.
