Suddenly, the village girl Suwa (Yuna Taira) jumps out in front of the procession after passing through the Magome on Kisoji. The act of stopping the procession is a mortal sin that corresponds to the death penalty. Swah begs to slash herself, but Ichiji misses Swah. After that, the party arrives safely at the destination of the day, Tsumagojuku. However, Shingo (Hiroki Nakajima), who is worried about Swah that night, disappears without telling the surroundings.
