Idris Elba's journey to becoming a professional fighter starts in London with his training team - best friend, fellow actor and two time World Thai Boxing Champion Warren Brown and trainer to 10 world champions Kieran Keddle. After a setback that puts his fighting dream in jeopardy, Idris travels to Japan to be drilled in iron body conditioning by Okinawan karate master Shinjo Sensei and receives expert advice from Japanese kickboxing legend Masato. But can he put that advice into practice as he takes on his first heavyweight spar?

Weakness
Idris Elba's journey to becoming a professional fighter continues as he tries to fit his kickboxing training around filming his latest movie in South Africa. Idris tries to overcome his fighting weakness by training with legendary fighting coach Steve Kalakoda and taking on Francois Botha - AKA The White Buffalo. Idris also travels to Cuba to work on his movement and upper body strength with Olympic boxing coach Nardo Mestre Flores. But back in the UK, can he put his new skills to use in order to win his first amateur fight?

Courage
Idris Elba's journey to becoming a professional fighter comes to its nail-biting conclusion in this final chapter of the documentary series. With only four weeks left until his first pro kickboxing fight, Idris heads to Thailand to immerse himself in his training. Here Idris trains with Thai kickboxing legend Buakaw Banchamek in Bangkok and then heads to the beautiful island of Koh Samui for his final countdown to fight night. But with his opponent training determined to beat him, who will be victorious in the ring?
