The battle-action manga features psychologically rich characters through their friendships, betrayals, revenge and master-disciple bonds. The TV cartoon version of Naruto began in 2002 and has been broadcast in more than 80 countries worldwide. Overseas viewers love both the human stories and the fact that they are ninjas from Japan! The TV cartoon reaches its 10th anniversary this year. Reporter Kei visits the production team for the new series starting in April to discover what makes Naruto such a great hit.
