Main theme: BLAME!

A feature about the debut work of the manga artist Tsutomu Nihei, famous for "Knights of Sidonia" which was serialized between 1997 and 2003 on the Monthly Afternoon Magazine: "BLAME!". It is a work highly supported by Japanese movie creators as well as overseas creators and artists with unique world view and hard action depiction. Because the original story is difficult to understand, "BLAME!" was said to be hard to animate. After 20 years, it was released as a completely new theatrical version of 3DCG work. Why now?
