Ezra shatters when he learns that his wife, Ava, has disappeared with all of their money; when a man named Richard shows up on Ezra's door in search of his wife, Alice, they realize they've been swindled by the same woman.

Maddie tries to hook her latest mark but finds herself drawn to a mystery man named Patrick; Ezra and Richard learn that being a con artist is harder than it looks, then they make a surprising discovery.

Ezra, Richard and Jules find a crucial clue to Maddie's whereabouts; Maddie's interest in Patrick alarms Max, Sally and their dangerous boss, The Doctor.

Ezra, Richard and Jules visit Maddie's parents. Sally makes a discovery with dangerous consequences. As Maddie gets closer to Patrick, Lenny Cohen (Uma Thurman) shows up to set things straight.

Patrick throws Maddie a birthday party with some surprising guests. Max comes to the rescue. Richard makes a shocking discovery.

An unanticipated trip home forces Ezra to contemplate his future. Meanwhile, romance and deception mark Maddie and Patrick's getaway, and Jules confronts her past.

Ezra, Richard and Jules give Maddie some life-altering information. Maddie and Max hatch a plan to save their lives, but they need the bumblers' help. Maddie and Patrick talk marriage.

As the wedding nears, Maddie struggles to keep her plan on track, Patrick tries to make a deal with Ezra, and Max teaches Richard tricks of the trade, while Jules has an unexpected encounter.

As Patrick and Maddie say "I do," the long-awaited showdown between con artists and FBI plays out, though it is unclear whose side Maddie is really on… or who will be victorious.
