It's Gonna Be a Disaster
Nine ordinary Americans are opening their homes to an inmate recently released from prison. Across the country, these individuals are on separate journeys but share a single motivating force: to help formerly incarcerated individuals re-enter society. While family and friends question this undertaking, one inmate proves to his new roommates that he is totally unpredictable.

This Is Not A Brothel
In Colorado, 61 year old Daniel travels to pick up 24 year old Deven from prison. Former inmate Aaron moves in with social studies teacher David in Minneapolis. Cyndi wants the companionship of soon-to-be-released Jennifer, but quickly realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew. Analisa and Vada are blindsided when former inmate Mark insists three women stay at their house.

The Finesse King
Vada steps in to smooth things over between Mark and Analisa; Cyndi fetches Jennifer from jail; tension arises between David and Aaron as they discuss the new living arrangements; Jim and Marisol learn about Mickey's charges.

I Thrive On Chaos
Emily prepares for inmate Jason to move into her home, but she soon begins to regret her decision. Jennifer moves into Cyndi's house, which is in complete disarray. Roommate David divulges a jaw-dropping detail about his past. Deven struggles to get to Cathy and Daniel's house in time to check in with his parole officer. When former inmate Mark goes missing, roommates Analisa and Vada are dubious about his whereabouts.

You Turned Your Back On Us
Cyndi reacts to Jennifer's confession; Mark gets ready for his first job interview with help from Analisa and Vada; Jim and Marisol confront Mickey; Cathy and Daniel get into a fight with Deven; Jason fails to make a good first impression.

That Was All A Lie
Jennifer wants to return to Cyndi's house; tensions arise as Cathy meets with Deven; Emily attempts to help Jason secure a job, but his old habits create problems; former inmate Aaron reunites with his daughter after years behind bars.

Gone Missing
Analisa reaches her limit when Mark vanishes from the house; Aaron goes missing after borrowing his roommate's car; Jason takes Emily to the racetrack after she catches him with an unexpected houseguest; Jennifer learns about Cyndi's family.

100 Dollar Rage
David and Aaron fight over a potential new roommate; Mark searches for a way to sneak a woman into Vada and Analisa's home; Cyndi sits in on Jennifer's job interview; Emily asks her young son to talk to Jason when $100 goes missing.

When Will I Be Free
A visit with Jennifer's children doesn't go as planned. David's refusal to allow Aaron's girlfriend to move in makes the former inmate rethink his future. After their explosive fight with Mark, roommates Analisa and Vada ask for their daughter's advice on what to do next. Emily's worst fears about Jason are realized when an argument with a stranger turns physical in her front yard.

Time For A Change
Aaron makes a pivotal decision after his disagreement with David. Former inmate Jennifer refocuses and decides her own fate. Deven's grandmother gives Cathy and Daniel a shocking update about Deven. In a final attempt to smooth things out with Emily, Jason makes an unexpected and drastic move. Vada and Analisa are conflicted after making a choice that could put Mark's freedom in jeopardy.
