Efforts to drive down costs, find a new restaurant-style chip in Belgium, the launch of Food Warehouse, and a visit to a sea bass farm in Turkey.

Episode 3
A current area for growth is vegan food, so Iceland's vegan buyer visits a factory to watch meatless sausage rolls being produced, as well as scoping out vegan products for the future. The Iceland team also tucks into its rivals' choc ices, while out in Italy the team develops a new ice-cream cake. Elsewhere, some environmentally friendly packaging for fruit and vegetables is put to the test with a view to making the company plastic free by 2023.

Episode 4
The retailer prepares for Christmas, the most important time of year for supermarkets with preparations made as much as 10 months in advance. With Christmas TV adverts becoming more competitive than ever, Iceland enters into an arrangement with Disney to tie their promotional campaign to the release of Frozen 2. They also launch some new festive products, including a chocolate and caramel pudding and a complete Christmas dinner in a pie.
