In 1954, wealthy surgeon Dr Sam Sheppard was given a life sentence for murdering his wife. Although he was later acquitted, he was never pronounced innocent and died in poverty. Now his son has brought the case to court for a third time, to clear Sheppard's name and claim damages for wrongful arrest.
