Cars are stolen in Norway and transported to criminal markets in Lithuania controlled by organized criminal networks. The vehicles are dismantled and the parts are sold on the open market. The profit is up to four times higher when selling parts than when selling whole vehicles. We decided to go to Lithuania to find out more about how this business, which in terms of money is bigger than the drug trade, works.
