Firefighters from Billesey Red Watch risk their lives and head into the heart of a blazing house fire which tests their training to the limit. With parts of the house collapsing around them, it is a race against time to get the fire under control. When the crew also discover a snake downstairs that needs their help, they learn that every call-out can bring new challenges.

Bloxwich White Watch find themselves in a tense stand-off and in need of police back-up after encountering a gang who try to stop them from putting out fires on a wasteland.

Elsewhere Erdington Green Watch race to a burning house with people reported trapped inside. They arrive to find a casualty on the ground in front of the house and must head straight into the fire to search for others who could still be inside.

Finally Highgate Red Watch respond to the type of emergency they fear the most when a distraught mother calls 999, asking for help to rescue her three-year-old daughter trapped in her bedroom by a fire.
