Island Life - Season 4

David and Debbie have known each other since they were kids. They went to college together, got married, and then raised three children of their own in Houston. They always loved vacationing on Galveston Island and now they want to live on the water year-round. With the assistance of Chevon Eaton from Eaton Realty, David and Debbie hope to find a home where they can be outside all the time and entertain plenty of family and friends who come to visit.

Justin, Sarah and their two sons have outgrown their current space in Nashville and are looking for a change of pace. Since Justin grew up on St. Simons Island and Sarah is from a small town in New Jersey, they're looking to get back to a similar community to raise their family. Since they've always talked about starting a business together, Justin and Sarah decided to open their very own bagel shop on the island. Amanda Duffey from Chapman Hall Realtors hopes to find Justin and Sarah a place quickly so the family of four can enjoy taking the boys to the beach, riding bikes along the marsh, and being a part of the island community.

Don and Kendra met while working in an emergency room in Texas. Kendra is an registered nurse and Don is a physician. In this high-energy, fast-paced environment they realized they wanted more from life when they weren't taking care of people. The summers in Amarillo have Don and Kendra hiding from the brutal heat and in the winter they're fighting to keep the ice and snow off their windshields. So this move to Galveston Island is about slowing down and making more time for an outdoor, relaxed lifestyle. They have four children, all in their 20s, who live in Texas so moving to a nearby Island means the family will come and visit more often. Stephon Eaton from Eaton Realty will be helping Don and Kendra find the perfect island home.

After living in California and now Tacoma, Samuel and Christina want to leave the city behind and return to the outdoor living that Vashon Island offers them and their two children. Luckily, Sam can work remotely so he won't face a daily commute. Since Christina will be busy with the kids, she can take advantage of time spent at the beach, on the trails, or out in nature. With this new island life, they are excited to slow things down and enjoy the moments as they come, and they've enlisted Katryn Fraser from the Trident Realty Group to help them find the perfect place.

John, Michelle, and their two children are from the Boston area. Tired of the winters, they're looking for a positive change in lifestyle. After a visit to South Carolina, they fell in love with Daniel Island and thought it was the perfect place to spend time outdoors with the family, right on the water. With the expertise of Maggie Rodenberg from Matt O'Neil Real Estate, they hope to find an ideal place to call home.

Mike and Jen have decided to leave Dallas behind for the beautiful beaches on the gulf of Alabama. They look forward to a simpler lifestyle with less traffic, less stress, more beach time and gorgeous views. Since Mike just obtain his real estate license, he is looking forward to buying his dream home and learning more about the market here. Mike and Jen have Lynn Cook from Gulf Shores Life Team to help them trade in their backyard and pool for a beautiful ocean view!

Lou and Cara have spent most of their lives enduring the cold winters of New Jersey. With 3 kids who love the outdoors, they've decided it's time to move to a warmer climate. They fell in love with Charleston, South Carolina while they were in college, and discovered Daniel Island right outside downtown. They've enlisted the help of Renee Reinert-Pote from Iron Gate Realty to help them find a home where they can spend time playing sports and enjoying nature year round.

Tyler and Julie vacationed together on Mustang Island. Sparks flew and shortly afterwards they became a couple. They loved the island so much they even got engaged there. Now that they're busy planning their wedding, they want to be able to call the island home too. They're hoping that Ashleigh Robertson from Port Aransas Realty can help find them a home with enough bedrooms so their friends and Julie's family can come visit and enjoy all that Mustang Island has to offer.

Lynn and Vanessa grew up in Louisiana most of their lives and that's also where they raised their four children. Once they visited Alabama's Dauphin Island they immediately fell in love with beach life and its small town feel. With Lynn a pastor, the family loves to keep active in the community and they hope to find an island home that will have that neighborhood feel. They've enlisted help from Dot Small at Alabama Realty to assist them in their search.

Phillip and Melissa love Dallas but are ready to leave the city and put their feet in the sand on South Padre Island. Since Phillip can work remotely and Melissa home-schools their four children, this move is perfect for the family to enjoy both the small town feel of SPI and still be right at the beach. Once they find their dream home with help from Gayle Hood of Padre Elite Team, the whole family will be able to settle down and enjoy island living.

After serving 28 years in the Army, Jim and Donna are looking to change jobs, lifestyles, and homes. They felt like Florida had run its course, and since Jim grew up in Alabama, he wanted to call it home again. Donna insists that their new house have a separate room for Jim's drum set, since his drums currently live in their dining room! Lawanna Sharpless from Bellator Real Estate is hoping to help Jim and Donna find that hidden gem to call home.

Mike, Kendra and their two children, Makayla and Nicholas find their lifestyle in Fort Mill, SC too fast and chaotic. They fell in love with Daniel Island after Mike was offered a new job in nearby Charleston and Kendra secured a teaching position in the area. With sandy beaches, less traffic and more time for the family, they're excited for their quality of life to change for the better. All they need now is a little help from Renee Reinert-Pote from Iron Gate Realty to find them a happy home.

Jim and Helen both grew up near South Padre Island and have spent many vacations thereeven spring break during college. While living in San Antonio, they've traveled around the world but ultimately SPI, with its warm waters and sandy beaches, is where they want to settle down. Jules Wilk from Padre Elite Team will help them find that island home.

Noah, Kjersten, and their two boys are looking to make the move from Othello to Fidalgo Island, Washington. Noah fondly remembers vacationing on Fidalgo when he was growing up and wants his two young boys to have the same positive experiences he had. With the help of Kelli Lang from CB Bain, the growing family hopes to find their island dream house with an amazing view.
