Their goal: to make an authentic and innovative experience that will honor the vision of the game's founders - Trip Hawkins and John Madden.

In the early 1990s, EA is the envy of the video game world, but in order to stay on top, Trip Hawkins & company must elevate their game. In 1992, they kickstart the annual Madden series to great fanfare. But soon, cracks begin to show. In 1996, Madden NFL cancels the release of the PlayStation version. And suddenly, for the first time, Madden finds itself in second.
