It's Your Move is a sitcom which is centered on the teenager Matthew Burton and his family. Matthew Burton (Jason Bateman) is a 14-year-old "wheeler-dealer" with more rackets than John McEnroe. But at least the junior Al Capone is devoted to his working mother (Caren Kaye). Then Matt meets his equal in a new neighbor — writer Norman Lamb (David Garrison). To the teen con artist's added horror, Norman takes a liking to his mother.
