Season 1
Viewers meet Jana during an investigation into the murder of a high-ranking official at the Swedish Migration Agency. When the main suspect is also found dead, Jana immediately recognises something on his scarred body. To understand her own traumatic past, Jana must reach the killer ahead of the police.

Episodes

Episode 1
On her first day at the prosecutor's office, Jana works on the vicious murder of a senior member of the migration board. But she hides the truth that she knows the victim and is seeking to uncover the secrets of her past through the investigation.

Episode 2
Jana is shocked to find that the killer is dead and has a mysterious scar on his body, similar to hers. The link prompts Jana to pursue the case with an uncompromising approach that soon creates disputes with her colleagues and jeopardises her.

Episode 3
After a brutal confrontation, Jana must hide her involvement in the case from her colleagues and her family. There is no going back, as Jana dedicates herself to uncovering the truth. However, a terrifying discovery shakes Jana to her core.

Episode 4
Jana fears that she is losing her sanity as she sees strange visions. She can hardly keep it together as the pressure builds. Suddenly, a person from Jana's past appears, whom she had long forgotten and believed had been dead for years.

Episode 5
In the hunt to track down those responsible for a string of crimes that span several decades, Jana finds herself up against someone who resonates with her.

Episode 6
A tragedy shakes the police station. The case appears to be solved, but the loose ends don't allow Jana or her colleagues to be at peace. So Jana goes back to the origin of all her old trauma to deal with the past as well as the present danger.

When a strange murder takes place in the sleepy market town of Bakerbury. The local police are baffled by a crossword puzzle left on the body.
With their case going nowhere, they turn reluctantly to Cora Felton, a recent arrival in Bakerbury; whose fame as the eponymous Puzzle Lady suggests she can help DCI Hooper and the Bakerbury police solve its first murder case. But the eccentric Cora isn't who she claims to be, and as she throws herself into a murder case that has the town's residents baffled, she starts to gather allies and enemies in equal measure.

The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia.
