Episode 1
A Wakefield girl born and bred, Jane McDonald takes an autobiographical road trip through her hometown, taking in the delights of the city and surrounding Yorkshire market towns. Reflecting on her childhood, she visits the beautiful village of Holmfirth, the setting for the sitcom Last of the Summer Wine, a firm favourite in the McDonald household, and meets up with actor Jonathan Linsley, who played Crusher in the TV series. Jane visits Wakefield Cathedral, where she would while away many a lunch hour as a young girl, amazed at its exquisite interior. Her visit finishes with a stunning performance by the cathedral choir at Chantry Chapel. And she reminisces about old times at one of the biggest variety clubs in the north, the Wakefield Theatre Club, where all the big stars of the day performed.

Episode 2
Jane taking in the delights of Oakworth, the station featured in classic film The Railway Children, and meets Christopher Witty, who played Jim in the movie. As Jane Eyre is one of her favourite novels, Jane visits the Howarth to learn more about the Bronte sisters' lives and the inspirational landscape of West Yorkshire.

Episode 3
The singer and her best friend Sue Ravey head to North Yorkshire to take a tandem cycle tour of the picturesque market and spa town of Knaresborough, before heading to the original filming location for Emmerdale Farm to meets star Frazer Hines. Jane then heads to Bridlington, where she spent all her childhood summer holidays, taking in the penny arcades, a traditional shellfish vendor and an ice-cream parlour.

Episode 4
The singer heads to Scarborough, where she used to go on family day trips when she was growing up, taking a trip on a pedalo and riding the tram up the hill from the beach to the town centre. Her next stop is the village of Goathland, where hit drama Heartbeat was filmed, meeting her friend Tricia Penrose, who played barmaid Gina.

Episode 5
Jane starts this final edition in Hawes, the pretty market town of Upper Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There, she visits an old-fashioned sweet shop and relives some cherished childhood memories. Jane is thrilled when she tracks down a long-lost favourite sweet that she hasn't seen or tasted since her schooldays.
