Janey and Ashley Get a Real Job - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Episode 1
In this episode, Janey and Ashley get to grips with working on a farm that also produces its own ice cream and cheese. Janey starts off with a physically demanding job in a hot room making cheese, and she is really pushed to the edge when she has to work in the deep freeze at -18c. Meanwhile, Ashley embraces the challenge of milking a whole herd of cows - but is it enough to secure the 'best employee' trophy and avoid cleaning out the milking parlour once the cows have all gone?

Episode 2
In this episode, Janey and Ashley don hard hats and head for a construction site. They are set to work making mortar, and they find out just how hard it is to build a simple wall. Next up, they have to get their heads around more complicated tools to connect cold and hot water pipes. Their work is then put to the test when it's hooked up to the live water main, and it could be a disaster if the site starts filling up with water!
However, their biggest challenge comes when they have to insulate a wall. The job involves joinery, accurate measuring and trying not to waste expensive materials. Can Ashley and Janey get past the hilarity of the word ‘dwang'? Can they put in the hard graft to see the shift through? And which one will be named ‘best employee' and avoid that last awful job?

Episode 3
In this episode, Ashley and Janey try their hand at various jobs in a factory that produces everything from hand lotion to shower gel, and soap to candles. They are pushed on their ability to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks. From restocking the on-site shop, to making soap and filling bottles, everything must be uniform and be produced at speed, with very little room for error. Trying to keep their minds from wandering and the mess to a minimum, Ashley and Janey are put through their paces by a boss who has no time for fooling around.
Janey is determined to win, but she can't stop her creativity from taking over when she should be following a precise shop display. The question is, will it land her the ‘best employee' trophy, or that one last job that nobody wants to do?

Episode 4
It turns out that Janey and Ashley fight every time they are together on a flight 0 so will sparks fly as they try out three very different jobs in an airport? Customer service, attention to detail and following instructions are essential when you're checking people in, baggage handling and working as part of the airport's fire service. However, there is a lot to remember and absolutely no room for error - not to mention the challenge of fighting a fire on a fuselage. It might be training, but the flames are very real. Can Ashley and Janey impress their boss and keep to the schedule? And which one will win the ‘best employee' trophy?
