Jérémie Archambault starts a new life with her father and her brother, far away from the city, and gets a job as a lifeguard for the summer at the Domaine du Lac. Working at the beach is a new start for her, and she’d like to put her heavy past behind her. She joins a team of five lifeguards: Raphaëlle, Camille, Olivier, Thomas and Maxime. Rapidly, Jérémie realizes that she’s involuntarily disrupting the group dynamic.

After a bad performance for Thomas at his swimming competition, Jérémie gets chewed out by Philippe Cinq-Mars, her boss, for having “dared” to give Thomas tips. Her first day is turning out pretty bad … until her new friends come to her rescue.
