In the first episode, Joe meets four people battling their health, diet and body confidence: Natalie from Lowestoft, who doesn't want to be a fat bridesmaid at her brother's wedding; teacher Asa, whose bad-boy diet and fondness for a G&T has caused his weight to balloon; and Liz and Hannah from Abbey Wood, south London. Liz is battling her size and type 2 diabetes, and needs to learn how to change her eating habit; while student daughter Hannah wants to downsize for her graduation day.

Episode 2
In this episode, Joe meets four people determined to overhaul their health, lifestyles and bodies. Pub landlords and husband and wife Jim and Helen want to call time on their unhealthy lifestyle of long hours, free drinks and late-night takeaways. Jake from Oldham takes regular exercise - walking from his desk to the printer - and lives on a diet of fast food. Jake wants to get fit again. Elise from Bradford has lost all her body confidence and it's stopping her enjoying activities with her children. Joe helps her to restart her recipe repertoire with tasty healthy meals that she and her sons can enjoy.
