Jon juggles his job as a program host with his job as a farmer, and has to prioritize. It's urgent to get the seeds planted, and when a part on the harrow breaks, things look bleak.

Ellen is about to realize a dream of having sheep and goats, but there's a lot to learn before the animals arrive. Jon takes a little too long fixing fences.

The vegetables are going into the ground at Brårud farm. Romantic dreams of manual labor are quickly shattered when Jon and Ellen realize they have gotten in over their heads. Jon and Audun become local celebrities when they organize a festival outside the local grocery store.

Jon and Ellen hope to win first place in the weather fair. Jon challenges his fear of large animals, and the couple makes a horrifying discovery in the field.
