He also journeys up the coast to learn about the Hobs - mythical cave-dwelling creatures with healing powers - before heading inland to Knaresborough to visit Mother Shipton's Cave.
Wales
Jonathan is joined by Michael Sheen to explore the legends of Wales, from the creation of Mount Snowdon to the Lady of the Lake, and attends the Green Man Festival.
Isle of Skye and Scottish Highlands
Jonathan explores the legends of the Isle of Skye and the Scottish Highlands. On Skye, he learns about musical fairyfolk, and the warrior queen Scáthach. On the mainland, Jonathan learns about Kelpies, and hunts for the infamous Nessie.
South West England
Jonathan explores the legends of South West England, from King Arthur and Morgan Le Fay, to piskies, spriggans, knockers and the Beast of Bodmin.
