Sjokket
The unthinkable happens in the North Sea. The platform "Alexander L. Kielland" goes around, and all of Norway stands still. The consequences of the accident sink in slowly and are difficult to fathom. 123 young people lose their lives and the ripple effects are enormous. How could this happen?

Fedrene som forsvant
The small village of Førdesfjorden in Haugalandet lost 7 men during the accident. Terje Olsen still remembers when her father said goodbye for the last time. Survivor Oddbjørn Lerbrekk claims he was not heard by the commission, and his daughter Solfrid is lobbying for new investigations into the accident to be carried out in the Storting. And suddenly another disaster almost happens.

Granskning
The battle to turn the platform around to find the cause of the accident begins, and it is the "cowboy" Scot Kobus who gets the task. And what really happened to the sister rig Henrik Ibsen? The Norwegian commission of inquiry delivers its report, with clear criticism of both shipyards and control bodies. But have they investigated everything?

Svarteliste
Kåre Magne Kvåle and Ragnvald Ofte were on the platform when the accident happened. They tell of good seamanship. But what was the culture of safety like? The pioneer era was a period characterized by several accidents, and it is said that there were blacklists among whistleblowers in the North Sea. Is the culture of silence still alive?

Kampen om sannheten
Resistance increases against turning the rig, but Kian Reme succeeds in the end. Police investigator Torbjørn Knutsen will never forget what met him when he boarded the overturned rig. The battle for the truth about what happened intensifies. Kian takes matters into his own hands and steals a piece of the rig to have it examined. Could there have been an explosion on board?

Nytt håp
The accident only came on the agenda again in recent times, and Stavanger Aftenblad has been leading the way in the investigations. Can new discoveries shed light on the conditions of responsibility? In Oslo, Kian Reme is anxiously waiting for the National Audit Office's conclusions. Will survivors and survivors finally be heard? Will there be a new investigation into the accident?
