New Subcultures of Kawaii

Currently, a fashion that has been inspired by subculture is getting high attention in Harajuku, home of the new trends. Although a few years ago, subcultures such as anime, manga, and games were considered to be enjoyed only by the "OTAKU" and not by fashionistas, but there is a phenomenon that is changing this norm.
So, this episode's theme is "New Subcultures of Kawaii"! Here, we'll show you fashion brands and creators that are hot right now. MC's Misha and Melody visit the famous brand that is the pioneer of the so-called "Character Styling Fashion" which mixes anime and fashion together, and show us the latest trend. Also, you'll get to exclusively observe the brand's next collaboration artwork with a popular illustrator, Hiroyuki Takahashi.
And catch a glimpse of wearable robot clothes inspired by the actual robots, "Robotics" fashion, and a new type of shop that just opened in Harajuku with the concept of "FASHION×OTAKU×CREATION."
