The identity of the dead woman is Hwang (pseudonym), who was reported missing four months ago. The police quickly identify a person named 'Shin Myeong-ho' as a suspect through investigation of the victim's financial transaction history and the behavior of the people around him. Shin Myeong-ho, who had already been a fugitive on charges of fraud in the past and 11 crimes. The police were confident in apprehending the suspect. But I couldn't find any trace of him anywhere. After the body of the victim Hwang (pseudonym) was discovered, identification was urgently needed to identify the suspect. However, at the time, the body of Mr. Hwang (pseudonym) was in a state of 'silapification' in which wax was made like soap without decaying. Unlike the normal fingerprint collection method, in the case of a corpse that has been silapized, an additional process called 'pre-processing' is required. Together with Sergeant Hong In-ki of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Scientific Investigation Unit, we will examine what siraphwa is, how to collect fingerprints in siraphwa, and the process.
