Episode 1

In St. John's, officers from the oldest mounted force in Canada ready their mammoth Percheron horses for a night beat on a rowdy party street. A small-town PEI police chief and his team uncover violations during a roadside stop-check.

Episode 2
Behind the scenes at Pearson International, Canada's busiest airport, from wildlife control and K9 patrols, to the ins and outs of air traffic controlling — including an emergency landing. Kingston police use a battering ram to gain access to the home of a suspected meth dealer. A Markham driving instructor tests teens on their ability to withstand distractions while driving. And a CSIS surveillance officer prepares for a stakeout.

Episode 3
A Niagara officer and his beloved K9 partner spend a night patrol literally "chasing the bad guys."
Rare access allows us to ride along on the tension-filled day of two Calgary sheriffs as they transport prisoners, including dangerous gang members, for their day in court.
Coast Guard Operations in Victoria help a family in distress, while a diver from a hovercraft rescue team conducts underwater maneuvers near Gambier Island, BC.

Episode 4
The Kahnawà:ke Peacekeepers undertake surveillance and execute a dramatic drug bust in their mission to rid their community of trafficking.
After a black bear has been wounded by a homeowner, conservation officers in Pitt Meadows, BC, track it through the urban wilderness.
Halifax outreach workers and "violence interrupters" go on weekend patrol to try to defuse potentially deadly conflicts.
And in Montreal, a hockey helmet undergoes a series of prescribed punishments to see if it will protect Canadian heads.

Episode 5
A police task force in Quebec City undertakes the suspenseful, chilling arrest of a suspected child pornographer. Canadian Forces fighter jet pilots in Cold Lake engage in a thrilling mid-air dogfight to test their response in the event of enemy attack. A Commercial Vehicle Inspection Officer engages in high-speed pursuit of a truck on an Alberta highway — and finds trouble with his load. And a Hamilton mental health worker and her police officer partner search for a man who has reportedly been collecting weapons.

Episode 6
Swells are high at a surfing beach in Lawrencetown, NS, and lifeguards must rescue a child pulled from shore by a rip current. On the request of a runaway youth's parents, a Vancouver police officer searches for the teenager, whom he fears is slipping down the slope of drug addiction. Officers at resort party town Mt. Tremblant conduct a nighttime DUI roadblock, and find evidence of a possible crime. And a female aircraft mechanic in Vancouver replaces part of the landing gear in a small passenger plane.

Episode 7
Royal Canadian Air Force and Coast Guard search and rescue crews undertake risky helicopter maneuvers over the Atlantic Ocean.
A Calgary firearms examiner conducts forensic tests on a sawed-off shotgun to see if it has been used in a homicide under investigation.
Ottawa scientists at one of the few explosive testing facilities in the world test a compound made from everyday chemicals, and a bomb suit designed for first responders.
And Nunavut offenders go overnight "on the land" to reconnect with the skills and the cultural pride they need to avoid the cycle of incarceration.

Episode 8
An emergency brings trains to a halt in Toronto as dispatchers and constables work their way through rush hour on the busiest transit system in Canada. A day in the life of firefighters in St. John's and Vancouver, from their homes right onto their fire trucks, as they respond to emergency calls. A mom organizes a safe walk to school for children in a risky Toronto neighbourhood. And a young Indigenous man in remote Poplar Hill tests the safety of the local water
