Episode 1

Hidehisa Honjo (Kiichi Nakai), a veteran lawyer, has been suffering from forgetfulness recently. Honjo was appointed by Keisuke Katagiri (Kenjiro Ishimaru), the representative of the law firm, for a medical malpractice case at Sakuraba Memorial Hospital, and a newcomer, Masaki Ninomiya (Yuki Izumisawa), will be an assistant. Takayuki Sakuraba (Tomomi Maruyama), the deputy director of the hospital, closes the mouth of Dr. Mayama (Takashi Kobayashi) who is trying to whistle-blower and asks Honjo to handle it confidentially. When Honjo returned home after visiting her parents' house worried about the physical condition of her mother, Tokieda (Reiko Kusamura), who lives alone, his wife Haruka (Yuka) was waiting. Haruka tells her late husband, who returns every day, that tomorrow is the birthday of her eldest son, Kazuya (Shu Miyazawa), so she will come back early. The next day, Honjo, who got the information that Mayama is Alzheimer's disease, hunts down Mayama with that as a story. That night, Kanako gets angry at Honjo, who gets drunk and accidentally visits her ex-wife Kanako Shinohara (Yuki Matsushita)'s house. This day was the anniversary of the death of Honjo and Kanako's little son in an accident ...
