Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer help Amy and Brian from Newtownards, Northern Ireland decide whether to move or renovate their five-bedroom chalet bungalow. After 50 years in the same house, Brian has had enough and wants a more spacious home in the countryside with more storage for his hobbies. Kirstie comes up with a plan to make their existing home feel brand new while Phil heads out to find a future-proof property with accessible ground floor accommodation to suit Brian's health needs.

Nikki & Bash - Hall Green, Birmingham
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer go head to head as they meet Nikki and Bash from Birmingham. After living in their three-bed house for 15 years Bash thinks it's time for them and their three children to move to a sizeable home in the countryside. While Nikki agrees the house isn't right for them she thinks with the help of Kirstie and their budget of £80-100,000 they can make it work and not have to move away from friends and family. Phil takes his budget of £650,000 and searches for a house that will make them both happy.

Heather & Tim - Lothianburn
Heather and Tim from Lothianburn enlist the help of the hosts to see if they can improve the seven-acre property they live in or if they should start fresh somewhere new. With Tim hating the dysfunctional layout, lack of storage and inadequate space for working from home Phil looks for a new place that ticks all the boxes. Heather however loves their home and isn't ready to leave considering the work and money they've put into making it theirs. She asks Kirstie for help renovating, certain she can bring back the joy the couple once felt there.

Sue & Richard - Mapperley
Kirstie and Phil help Sue and Richard from Mapperley decide whether to sell or renovate their home. After Richard suffered a stroke two years ago he struggles to get around the two-storey house and thinks one-level living would be much easier for them, but Sue loves their home and thinks with a complete re-jig of the ground floor they could make it fit their needs. While Kirstie conjures up a plan to make their home more accessible, Phil sets out to find a one-floor home for them with some gorgeous views.

Sarah & Jabzz - Cheshire
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer help Sarah and Jabzz from Cheshire decide whether to renovate their four-bed one-bathroom house or sell it. Sarah thinks they need more space, a second bathroom and somewhere to dry the laundry. Meanwhile Jabzz loves their home and doesn't want to leave behind all the love and work they have put into it. Kirstie puts together a cost-effective plan to make the house fit their needs while Phil looks for a new place they could love.

Lexie & Ed - Nottingham
Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp help clothing designer Lexie and IT consultant Ed from Nottingham decide whether to renovate their four-bed one-bathroom house or sell it and move elsewhere. Ed votes for packing up and moving to a bigger place for their family of six while Lexie thinks with Kirstie's help they can make their home work for them.

Larne 2019 Revisit
Kirstie and Phil catch up with Catherine and Nigel four years after their first visit when they helped them decide what to do with their home in Larne, Northern Ireland. Catherine wanted to move from the disjointed small roomed bungalow in an isolated location but Nigel, who didn't want to buy the property in the first place, was in love with their large garden with stunning views. While Phil took the pair to see some impressive but affordable houses, Kirstie came up with a plan to repurpose their space. Now they're back to see if the pair stuck to their decision.

Edinburgh 2020 Revisit
Kirstie and Phil return to Edinburgh to visit Gary and Bill, after meeting them in 2020 to help them choose between to selling or renovating their house, to see what they decided. While Gary was packed and ready to move out of their four-bed Victorian cemetery lodge, Bill loved the unique features of their home and so the pair enlisted Kirstie and Phil's help.

Brilliant Builds: Aylesbury
Kirstie and Phil look back on some of their most interesting renovations and house-hunts, starting with Sophie and Paul in Aylesbury, who were divided over their three-bed house which Paul bought himself. After meeting Sophie and having two children together, Paul decided he wanted to move into a bigger and better family home while Sophie wanted to stay in the area with her family nearby. Amy and Louis in Cowbridge, Wales were in turmoil over their period home which Louis had inherited from his late grandmother. The house held many memories for Louis but with his recent diagnosis and the upkeep required, Amy doubted it could be a long-term home for them.

Brilliant Builds: Downstairs Dilemmas
Kirstie and Phil look back on two very different downstairs dilemmas, with one family surrendering their space to pets and another struggling to entertain the community they serve. Newly-weds Matt and Lucia struggled to fit their family into their living space as most of it had been given to their rescued pets, while Baptist minister Chris and Caroline had a severe lack of space in an already-extended property as they regularly host upwards of 14 people in their four-bed home.
