When he sees Alison in the home improvement store, Tom knows what to do chase her! A big fan of the show, Tom talks Alison into taking him home and surprising his wife and next thing he knows, he's appearing on his favorite TV show. Alison gets to work transforming Tom and Nicole's builder's standard kitchen by gutting the room and re-thinking the space planning. She adds an island with a sleek granite top and extends decorative cabinets and gray quartz countertops the entire length of the kitchen, providing endless space for cooking and entertaining. Where there was once an empty space, Alison designs a custom bench clad in wood flooring planks and zinc-covered table to provide seating for the entire family. The dark brown wide-plank wood floor extends up one wall creating an accent wall that looks like a piece of art and a metallic, blue-gray backsplash gives the kitchen some color and style.
