Happily Ever After Kitchen

When Alison meets soon-to-be-newlyweds Mike and Angie, she sets out to give them the best wedding gift ever ? an elegant yet rustic kitchen makeover with room to seat all of their guests. To give this outdated kitchen a wedding-worthy look, she replaces the dingy cabinets and countertops with beautiful two-tone glazed cabinetry and a shimmery white stone countertop. Alison optimizes the flow of the kitchen by rearranging the appliance layout to create the perfect work triangle and opens up the ideal space for a bar, ready for a champagne toast. To add some country charm, Alison and Mike add interest to the ceiling by creating distressed wood beams that tie in to the reclaimed barn wood wainscoting. As if this wasn't enough, Alison gives this lucky bride and groom-to-be a piece of her own kitchen, which she and Angie repurpose into a beautiful new table with a rich history.
