The cooking school is back in action! Truls and Hellstrøm welcome 12 new and excited celebrity students to a new semester - and a nerve-wracking first day of school.

It's time for the first exam of the semester, and the students are feeling the pressure as they prepare a dish that stirs up great emotions in them.

The students' creativity is put to the test when pasta is on the schedule, and Principal Hellstrøm enlists the help of Italian experts.

Pasta exams present challenges for several students when both the pasta machine and the homemade dough are difficult to work with.

It's taco day at the Cooking School, and a taco expert gives students a whole new experience with the signature Mexican dish.

Things get hectic in the kitchen during today's exam when students have to collaborate on making several types of authentic Mexican tacos.

The students have to hone their skills at filleting when fish and crafts are on the schedule. And while some have filleted fish before, others are in deep water.

Stress and tight deadlines characterize the fish exam, where students must use the fish they filleted themselves to create an impressive dish.

Truls takes the students on a mushroom hunt. And principal Hellstrøm brings in master chef Arne Brimi to teach the students about game and proximity to the ingredients.

Both grouse and deer will be prepared for the game exam, but this time it's not just the students competing against each other.

Vegetarian food and wine are on the schedule. And while the students are visited by wine expert Ingvild Tennfjord, Principal Hellstrøm has his own secret project underway.

On the vegetarian exam, students must cook two dishes for the first time. And as if that weren't enough, they also have to choose a suitable wine for one of the dishes.

An old acquaintance shows up at the Cooking School. And it becomes a bloody affair when the theme is delicacies of the sea and the students have to clean shellfish.

On the seafood exam, presentation is at least as important as taste, and this creates both frustration and headaches for students.

Things get emotional at the Cooking School when the remaining students are called in for a student interview at Principal Hellstrøm's office.

It will be hard work for the students on today's exam when they have to both stuff and prepare their own sausages.

Master chef Jimmy Øien brings Northern Europe's largest grill to the Cooking School to teach students how to master grilling and heat treatment.

Expectations are high before the final exam at the Cooking School. And to secure one of the four exam spots, students must be able to prepare an entire meal on the grill.

Truls and Hellstrøm have planned several difficult challenges when it comes to deciding which two students will make it to the final exam.

The two exam candidates must impress Truls and Hellstrøm with what they have learned when it is time for the exam, and the "Cooking School's Star Student" will be crowned.
