When a woman is found dead from a fall from an office building, Alex and Rex must visit a fortune teller to find out why the woman has a death tarot card on her.

A serial killer is on the loose in Vienna and is killing women on each full moon. In order to catch him dumping the next victim in a cemetery, Alex has them staked out, but the next morning another woman is found dead.

The Dead Man Returns
Kunz must investigate the death of a former colleague. As the investigation deepens it leads Alex and Rex under the streets of Vienna into the catatombs.

A man lists an add on the Internet and ends up being found 3 months later dead. With very little to go on, Alex places his own couples add and prepares to go undercover.

A museum curator for the National Library of Vienna and a descendant of a famous 19th century botanist are found murdered after an exhibition is held in honour of the botanist. The botanist was rumoured to have found the secret to eternal life and someone may have killed to get it.

The Million-Dollar Horse
First a man is found murdered with a top prize-winning bull. Then a prized horse is kidnapped. Dr Graf does the autopsy on the man and reveals to Alex that the bull didn't kill him, he was murdered.
