Episode 1
The twin sisters Wenche and Elsebeth have not had contact for years. But when their mother needs care, they see no other way out than to work together. 18 years old Kine is finally finished school and ready to live life free from duties and responsibilities. That she is high-pregnant single mom and is about to give birth in a short time does not worry her. Party therapists Anne and Bjørnar are divorced. To make it as easy as possible for the children, they live separately in a semi-detached house. It is a less ideal solution, as Anne has little respect for the rest of the family's privacy.

Episode 2
The artist Rose has finally found the dream man and become a partner with the doctor Richard, which is all she has hoped for. But Richard also has two children from previous marriages, and Rose must fight with them for his time and favor. Chief surgeon Gerhard Mowinckel is delighted that his only son Victor will soon have children and continue the Mowinckel name. The problem arises when Victor will take the father-in-law's surname. Two weeks have passed since Kine gave birth to a daughter. Now she thinks it is high time that she got caught again and sneaked out on the Øya festival, with baby in tow. Anne gets surprised when she finds out that Bjørnar's ex-husband has gone on and got himself a girlfriend.

Episode 3
The single mother Marianne Janbu is a supporter of a soft and dialogue-based upbringing, but it does not work quite as she wants, with two manipulative and overcoming teenage daughters. Wenche and twin sister Elsebeth have a nursing mother. As the sisters are not speaking, they try to negotiate who will look after the mother, through excel sheets and with their husbands as messengers. Gerhard has invited his son Victor and his fiancee to dinner. He wants to take up the fight with his in-laws about the couple's last name. Rose struggles with that cohabitant Richard has two children from previous relationships. This weekend, she also feels threatened by Richard's young ex-wife, who comes to visit.

Episode 4
The single mother Marianne is struggling with the upbringing of the breeding daughter Frøya. When her daughter scolds her school, Marianne is trying hard against hard, with the help of punishment. It is Wench's turn to take care of her nursing mother. But when she finds out that it's actually twin sister Elsebeth's day, she does everything she can to stick sticks in the wheels. Rose is unhappy that Richard's daughter has moved into their home and plans to get her out of the house. Gerhard will play tennis with his son Viktor. But his new erkerival Sverre is also invited. It becomes a double fight, family against family.

Episode 5
The friends of the fresh young mother Kine tell them to go to France to study. Kine decides to join, she just has to persuade her parents to look after Emma for a whole year. Gerhard Mowinckel ends up in another male fight with Viktor's father-in-law. This time they are competing for the best maternity leave. Elsebeth's and Wenche's mother finally got nursing home, and both sisters are trying to get away from being the home contact. Anne and ex-husband Bjørnar hold a garden party for the football team to the son, and Anne has invited her fresh tinder date.

Episode 6
Wenches mother wants an armchair in her room. Wenche goes on a robbery at the nursing home to fulfill her mother's wish. A death in the family causes Rose reluctantly to have sole responsibility for little Gabriel for a whole day. The relationship between Gerhard and his son Victor is approaching the freezing point. Gerhard has therefore decided to make a final attempt to correct the son's bad impression of him.Marianne's 15-year-old daughter Embla has been on the filling party, and Marianne struggles as usual with how to attack the upbringing problem.

The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
