The investigation into the night of the accident continues. Güney is uneasy that Kuzey does not come to testify in his support. This sets him on the path for revenge. Kuzey forces Simay to sign the power of attorney for the divorce purposes and takes her to the police to deny the veracity of accusations against Güney.
The anger of Güney against Kuzey also harms Sami's business. It is time for Sami to hold Güney accountable. Sami goes to the Holding in his baking apron and makes a scene. When Güney's past is published in the newspapers, the Sinaners also become the topic of the press. Although Banu tries to rectify this situation in her own way by giving an interview, the result turns Güney into "Cinderella Man".
